California TV station KTLA is under fire for telling meteorologist Liberté Chan to cover up her dress with a sweater -- live on the air. Weekend morning news anchor Chris Burrous was heard off screen telling her that multiple viewers complained her outfit, a black sleeveless gown with beads and sparkles, was inappropriate for Saturday's early weather forecast.
"What's going on?" Chan asked as Burrous' arm appeared on-screen, handing her a gray cardigan. "You want me to put this on? Why? 'Cause it's cold?"
"We were getting a lot of emails," Burrous said.
Chan awkwardly complied, though she complained she "look(s) like a librarian now."
