Marvel Planning To Reboot Blade With Wesley Snipes?
"The project is controlled by Marvel and we did have a really productive and a wonderful meeting and we discussed a number of things," Snipes told Deadline. "I don't know where it's on their schedule at this point, that hasn't been decided. I guess it's still up in the air."
We'd love to see Snipes return as Blade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although we doubt it would happen on the big screen. The Blade comics are not for children and, as we have seen with some of Marvel's darker characters, they end up on a Netflix series called Daredevil.
Others have gotten their own series as well, which is currently being filmed.
Unless Marvel changes the way it does things, we want to kindly ask fans to never look out for a Blade 4 or a reboot for that matter. It would be a total waste should Marvel create a Blade movie that is no rated R. We're not saying it couldn't be a fun film, but the bloodlust and profanity are some of the many things that separate Blade from other comics.
The first Blade movie was an enormous success, and it managed to transform into a trilogy. While the first was spectacular, the second one was average and the third was just downright terrible.
Wesley Snipes did his job as Blade very well. We just have to blame the writers and director."
I would like to see mr tax evader back on the big screen. although he was a "b" film actor, them joints were entertaining as hell back in the day. I liked Wesley way better than Steven Seagal
