It's been 20 years since Brian Pillman's tragic passing, and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer joins TIJ to share some stories and memories. Dave started covering Brian's wrestling career from his early days in Calgary with Stampede Wrestling. The two became very close friends, and now Dave Meltzer is providing some insight about Brian's Loose Cannon gimmick, how Brian was able to get Eric Bischoff and WCW to release him from his contract so that he could pull a swerve and sign with Vince McMahon and WWE, Brian's Hollywood Blondes tag team with Steve Austin, and the one big goal that drove Brian's career choices. And Dave remembers the last days leading up to Brian's tragic death. Plus, Sisi & Chey return to give their personal review of the new movie, "It."

Additional note's
  • There was supposed to be a 4 Horsemen stable called 'Horsemen X'(Generation X) Eddie, Benoit, Pillman and Jericho were supposed to be the members.
  • Pillman was going to handcuff himself to the goal post at the superbowl
  • Humvee Accident
  • Pillman wanted to wrestle in Mexico
  • Pillman was one of the few wrestlers that got a guaranteed contract from WWF
  • Pillman's girlfriend went missing only to end up in Florida, then killing herself on the phone with her mom.
  • Meltzer mentions that Pillman and Eddie's death was very similar as they died in a hotel in the same city before their main event.

This seems pretty cheap. Did Pillman and Jericho ever even cross paths in any promotion? ECW maybe?

Yes he mentions that Pillman randomly appeared in his match with Taz. He say's that Pillman was cheering for him tapping the mat, Taz then stepped up to Pillman making him run towards the security guards who escorted him out of the building.
