Game freak ain't a good developer tho

Once pokemon left under powered handlehelds they were exposed
They never had much of a budget to work with or much time after a game gets greenlit. The Pokémon Company puts more money into marketing the games, toys and merchandise

Pokemon games are lowkey getting mid so i'm glad they're flexing their creative muscles and doing something different

Apparently anyone at gamefreak can pitch an idea and if it gets greenlit they hire outside studios to co-develop them.

I dont think this is necessarily for Nintendo either, their last game was multiplat.
