I remember this episode.

At the end when Spidey was leaving, I remember them doing a close up on the sign outside her window and it said something about "terminal"

I didn't know what it meant so I went and looked it up. :mjcry:

That was how I discovered the meaning of "terminally ill".

It was so sad :mjcry:

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
As far as animated comic book shows goes, this moment is kind of underrated. Everyone always talks about "Heart of Ice," "Growing Pains" "The Late Mr. Kent," and a lot of the X-Men episodes carried that extra realistic oomph punch, but this one doesn't get mentioned enough IMO. Props to the writers for sailing around the fact that she was terminally ill. They put it all there for you without mentioning it once until the very end.

That 2 parter was kinda deep for a kids show :mjcry:

and no animated show was ever deep again.
You can watch the entire series & many episodes were deep where Peter Parker used to question himself philosophically. Check out him going against Venom.
It’s like he was his own psychiatrist in the entire series.

And no other show ever had that depth ever fukkin again. :damn:
