Tablets questions

I'm getting mom dukes a tablet for xmas. Any one have some good recommendations? are ipads head of the class or have android tablets better? She's not too tech savvy so I was leaning towards a kindle fire hd. Anyone have any experience with those? What's the deal brehs?

kindle fire is perfect for what she is gonna do with, its not feature heavy and its very easy for her to pick up and use

now for your own personal use get off that which one is better stuff, especially here because you will get the bullshyt of stanning and not real answers

At this point in the game the high end android tablets go neck and neck with the ipad so its about whats best for you and from my experience its best to go with the side you are more experienced with regardless if its android or apple. If you have an iphone I recommend you get an ipad because the syncing of apps, files, etc will be a better experience. Same thing applies if your more familiar with android.

IPad or nothing

I have an iPad 2 but will get that Samsung galaxy 10.1 soon, not because I don't like the iPad, but because my dad loves the iPad for how simple and user friendly it is. All he uses it for is to read stuff online, Facebook, email, read books, etc (for everything else, he has a laptop). The Galaxy Tab will be more practical for me considering I also have an android ( galaxy) phone, but for your mother's (assuming here) purposes, an iPad2 would be perfect (if you don't wanna shell out $$$ fo a 3). Btw Jailbreaking is too easy so she'd be set, unless she doesn't mind paying for a few apps here and there


I'm not commenting on the Kindle because I have never seen anyone with one
