Tablet recommendations?

Anybody out there have any recommendations on tablets, I'm about to by one for school and don't know shyt about them really. I looked at the Google Nexus 7, but don't really have anything to compare it to.

Nexus is looking real nice, can the memory be upgraded?

Nexus can't increase storage but the price point is awesome and you can do a lot of media consumption with it. Outside of the ipad the only other tablet is like is the transformer joint with the keyboard in addition.

That price point with all it can do had me like , I know there's an app that makes it where it can be compatible with external memory, so that's good at least.

Just bought the ipad3 haven't owned any apple product since I bought one of the original iPod. I was skeptical but it's def worth the hype; completely happy with the purchase.
