Been a skim drinker all of my life...was scared of both the taste of whole (seemed creamy as a kid) and the dogma of fat being bad (not concerned with that since my macros are on point)
Switched to whole milk yesterday to boost my calorie intake and I'm feeling
2400 calories and 120g of complete protein for $2.55
Tons of healthy vitamins and minerals
Don't care about the saturated fat because macros are on point
Actually tastes good and makes protein shakes more filling
Still have decades of negative dogma in my head though and am still a bit too scared to drink more than 36-48 oz per day. Need to get over this mental block . I don't necessarily trust the "saturated fat is perfectly fine" movement. Cholesterol is the only part of my bloodwork that is poor and I have been trying to correct that for 2 years.
