Well breh with all due respect CM Punk was involved in that event and when reviewing certain files it is understood he has this effect

shouldnt have included that goof john cena in it
212k buys though?that still 200k more than tna
211k more buys though
So you think Ryback was a huge, sudden draw but since he didn't win the title immediately, he can't be a draw anymore? What do they do with him now? :bushes:?It's simple, clown. People watched Hell in a Cell to see Ryback win the title... what they received was Brad Maddox fukkery.
So how does WWE try to keep their interest? They add Cena to the feud.
Game. Set. Match.
People wanted to see Ryback win the title and WWE didn't deliver...
Anything else you would like to address?![]()
Besides the fact that this is factually incorrect, even if it were true it would be irrelevant because that's not how the WWE is looking at it. A month ago we heard that Ryback was being credited by some internally for the higher HiaC buys after he replaced Cena, and that the next PPV numbers would either reinforce or destroy that belief. It seems its the latter so where does that leave Ryback, especially with the Rock coming back to the title picture now?Whenever Punk's the focal point the numbers are disappointing.
Why do we even have these conversations anymore, we all know who's to blame![]()

No, the point is that WWE didn't deliver on what the people wanted.
Did anyone believe there would be a title change once Cena was added to the mix? I don't believe so. It was apparent Punk would be retaining through more fukkery.
Only so many times you can pull the rug from under the fanbase before they revolt. Royal Rumble and WrestleMania will do fine because those events will have proven draws..
Again, your spin couldn't matter less. WWE was taking it as a further gauge of Ryback's draw. That's what all the reports said.Ryback was the focal point at HIAC.
At Survivor Series the story was about Punk retaining his belt. Nobody thought Ryback was going to win that match.
Yeah but the main reason they decided not to put the title on Ryback was because they didn't want to jeopardize existing plans with those proven draws, so its kind of a catch 22.
Especially now that Ryback's drawing power is apparently hurt in their eyes, they probably feel like they did the right thing.
I really dont think its as much that people wanted to see Ryback as champ as much as it is that HiaC had a feeling of uncertainty, that you just wanted to see what would happen, how they'd handle it. And thats the biggest thing missing from the product nowadays. Even Raw used to feel like anything could happen, and people would tune in for that. Now every show and even most PPV's are predictable and![]()
