So great it got a sequel and spawned a must-see franchise

And I thoroughly enjoyed the movie I watched it about 50 times

SNYDER WANTED TO DO MOS 2 FIRST.

This isn't accurate. He wanted to do 'Man of Steel 2' and the executives at the time said nah we need to get Batman and everyone involved. So then he laid out his plans and they still meddled with the final cut of 'Batman v. Superman' and then his daughter died and he left 'Justice League' they brought in Joss Whedon, that failed and the rest is history.
