Yeah i count the opening credits. I don't really see wolverine drinking himself under the table as uncharacteristic or comedic. he just an alcoholic
and deadpool playing with wolverine bones was more a moment i attribute to deadpool not wolverine. If he was ragdolling hugh jackman than yes i would agree.

However you want yo label it situational or something else, you still have to admit that in deadpool, deadpool carries the humor. In Jame Gunn movies everybody gets their moment to be the joker. To me that's comedy by committee. Comic Relief used to just be one persons job, not everyones

and the example i listed where just the thing that immediately came to mind if i go back and watch peacemaker i will find more goofy shyt from everybody.

Gunn does character dynamics. Gamora and Nebula don’t joke cause that’s not their dynamic. Gamora is softer with Quill in comparison. Harcourt keeps things professional. She starts opening up and laughs.( The credits have nothing to do with her character arc).

I said when Nebula and Gamora are together on screen. the character dynamic is about killing and torture. I didn‘t say they were never jokes.

The ripe and pelvic sorcery was with Rocket and the Ravengers and Quill respectively. Not the two sisters alone.

Like i siad. Deadpool is on screen in 99% of the time. No one would be able to make a joke he’s not going to reply to or fourth wall break over it.


Falling straight backward drunk is Married with Children or Albert Brooks comedy.
Even world traveling archeologist Indiana Jones was moaning about snakes.

I think it'll be different but I do think there will be some humor elements because Lois and Clark have always had that. Also, like I was saying before he's truly a comic head so I would think it'll be close to the source materials he's referencing.

Gunn has a good superhero track record.

most Modern comedies including James gunns recent movies always do this.
Reason i like deadpool is because he is pretty much only character in the movie acting silly, everybody else is playing it straight.
Gunn makes the entire cast act goofy. Rocket, Groot, Peter, Drax, Mantis, even The villain, everybody was goofy

Considering both FF and Supes are coming a few weeks apart makes this argument silly.

Both movies are remixing and taking huge swings with their depictions.

Stuff doesn’t cause sometimes stuff doesn’t work. Canon or not.

Max Lord being comic accurate doesn’t inoculate him from criticism any more than any changes makes him better.

I'm not saying they are rational arguments. But these two types of fans WILL shyt on a movie for not being canon.. Look at how they talk about The Dark Knight... Most people love it.. Great movie series. But the hard core fans HATE grounded Batman and all the changes and don't give a damn how good the movies were, they sucked cause "grounded batman."

Those same people will tell you The Batman is the best ever cause it's "Detective Batman." Damn if the movie was actually the best movie made about Batman... Then those same fans will be drowned out by bigger nerds who will say "But where's the supernatural stuff? So they all suck." Then a normal guy will say Keaton is the best cause it was the best Movie, even though it was far from canon and campy and shyt

Normal movies don't have to go through this type of shyt. FF already feeling it making a female SS.... And now we watching people fight over if Supes is corny or canon and if it'll beat the non canon MoS Supes, who might have a better movie

Spot on, but it didn't even take that long. Soon as MCU was faced with a sequel, outside of Cap, they fukking failed.. ______________ 2 was a terrible movie every time. And 3 was 90% of the time worse than that.

They literally only brought fire in the first of (origin) stories.... and when left to their own to make 2 more of those, they never could.
