on E85 (582WHP on pump gas) STOCK TRANSMISSION

“On pump gas it’s making 582 hp, which is not bad at all. The E70 tune puts it damn near 800 hp and 652 whp. To put that into perspective, McLaren 720s are putting down anywhere between 680 and 690 whp, depending on the dynos. Hellcats are doing around 670 whp, the Demon (on normal mode) 707, and the new ZR1 654.”

I own a Lexus IS F and as soon as they get the valve bodies upgraded (as they said its not holding enough pressure between shifts) I'll be looking to do this.

New Injectors, Surge tank, walbro 450 fuel pump and a a fine tune. It laid down 652WHP with the E85 upgrade.

:mjlol:

That was my same reaction. They got the kit on preorder for $10,000. Which ain’t bad. Right now I’m only at about 390whp with bolt ons. So 10K for 262 more ain’t bad at all. I paid 28,000 used for my car so 652whp for 40K all together is a deal for a 4 door luxury sedan.

Although I’m debating if I trust myself not to kill myself once I get up there. This is my first “fast” car and I’ve been responsible for the most part :mjlol:. But the power difference is gonna be ridiculous

I don't think anyone can compare their car to a Lexus IS F here. Most here couldn't even afford the property tax on that Lexus.

the IS-F is an sharp car. Too bad the GSF is medicore
I actually like the look of the GSF a little more. Well more so the interior and the front end but I can always update my front bumper to the new grill style. But yeah the ISF design still looks fairly modern to have debuted in 2008. They dropped the ball with the GSF. Should've just continued with the ISF.

i think there is a supercharger for that is250 now though. so you are good to go. the two doors look cool and they are kind of rare. around here I've only seen maybe one or two ever

Good to hear, I just bought it from a friend so I am tempted to add some enhancements to it.

Would love to mod my car but I wonder how it would effect the reliability
the recent supercharger kit they released for the IS250 was tested on one with hundreds of dyno runs for a year with 150,000 miles stock. Only thing they recommend is either the tuned headers they offer or just high flow cats. everything else is stock. Lexus has top engineering and reliability won't be an issue.
