PARDON ME,.. but what was the difference besides playing time and an oppurtunity, between sun yue and lin?

But, he's afraid of his own shadow. thats the difference between the two. one guy has only played in low level leagues in the stats. but most of his career was in china. where as the other guy was born in the US of A and played vs the usual american baller. there's a difference in talent level and attitude from the US vs china.

i, also feel and thought sun yue's lack of permeation had more to do with sun yue..

not being of domestic origin and used to the american game.

where as lin was a mostly amercan soil based product.

who did not have to ramp up to the domestic game from international play.

that destroyed his development as a pro.

Sun Yue had a problem getting around defenders, even in summer league. Jeremy Lin, despite being able to barely dribble with his left hand, has always been able to get to the basket. Lin is a better distance shooter as well.

I will say this - Yue never got the chance that Lin got in the pros and maybe he had more than he was able to show, but those are the breaks.
