really never like how these pixel game remasters look. they all have this mobile game look to them and the new assets mixed with the original sprites is just too jarring. speech font is always some generic microsoft word lookin shyt too

I'll stick to the og versions but good to see the franchise isn't completely dead and forgotten. suikoden 1 was the first rpg I ever played

I just finished the first Suikoden, I'm about to start up the second. People say Suikoden 2 is one of the GOAT RPG's, so I'm looking forward to it.

Leon Silverburg was a pain to recruit in the first one. It's good to have multiple save files on hand in case you miss your chance to recruit him or Mace.

The golden ending where Gremio comes back to life is well worth it, IMO.
