because your major hormone is estrogen, soy's phytoestrogen component doenst effect you to the same degree as it would a man

and even still the studies on soy's component which mimics estrogen is still relatively unproven

but theres alot of ongoing research, the biggest fear is its effect on children who use soy formulas

imo i prefer proteins from animals over plants :manny: but that is purely personal reasons

the cost :sadbron: half a gallon costs like 3 dollars while a gallon of regular milk costs 29 cents :smh:

I'm lactose intolerant

plus milk in California costs 4 dollars a gallon. 4.99 for a 1/2 gal the lactose free milk and 6.99 for a gallon of organic milk.. and people pay 6.99 for organic milk :yeshrug:

Blue diamond almond milk is on some permanent sale at one of the grocery stores over here for 2.58/.5gal. They said they will keep it at that price until this fall or something like that.

Breh it was sarcasm/a joke..

I only really drink it cause I find it tastes better and milk/dairy upsets my stomach.

Almond milk is way too sweet for me. I had the vanilla and it was sweeter than a milkshake.

Coconut milk is better but almond milk is healthy a well
And both are much better choices than dairy milk. Also whole milk is better than fat free and skim milk. Stay away from anything soy and too much estrogen is bad for females and will make you hold fat as well.

I gets down with Blue Diamond; they got an unsweetned almond/coconut milk blend that I always use in my smoothies.
