Struggling with a sample brehs...help

I can't get it right



There's some good cuts in this song I know it, but I'm trying both looping and chopping and it either it sounds offbeat or I can't find the right drums to put over it. Maybe #tunnelgang can take a look at it and see what they can do with it? I could also use some tips on how you all choose your drum patterns for samples, it's something I occasionally struggle with. Help me out fam.

try smaller or more chops.the more pieces you have to work with well....the more pieces you'll have to work with and from that point it will be easier to blend or layer other pieces of this same song on top of it. the drums are good too.
