Having 3 super cheap players using roster spots will help around the margins. Idk anything about either of the 2nd rounders, but Calvin clearly went for shooting and ability to contribute right away. Between Watson, Gillespie, these 3, a possible TPMLE guy, vlatko, zeke and maybe kamagate, we should be able to find 3 or 4 guys that can contribute.

I don’t think Kamagate is coming this year maybe next. I still believe we need a back up center but they have to get Bruce back even if it is a 1+1 again he is essential to a repeat

He’s been hinting at coming back, but I’m not holding my breath. An improved CB plus a TPMLE guy or one of these rookies stepping up should be able to replace most of what we lose if Bruce walks.

There’s a lot of guys who will be on board who didn’t play a lot if at all during the playoffs
I gotta think they’ll be motivated to get better so they can be on the floor
Especially for those guys who were sitting on the bench during the postseason run; I’m sure it’s different being apart of the action

Seems like he should be a good fit
He’s been compared to Andre Miller and in this video there’s a suggestion he has a Jokic skill set—I like players that can’t be sped up and play at their own pace

Yeah he’s definitely a guy that’s good but wasn’t taken seriously as a prospect because he has a weird game. We should be able to make that work, just have to see if he translates.

Kamagate is playing in the summer league hopefully he shows something so they bring him over. Honestly, screw that bring him over anyway and let him cut his teeth. Hopefully, his contract in Italy has an out clause because we need a back up big. Malone is going to be forced to play the young guys and be patient which could pay huge dividends in the post season. This season is going to be about developing the bench period, I really did not like being back Reggie Jackson for the mle especially with Gordon out there who is better and may have come on the mle for a chance to win a ring
