Would of been nice to resign grant.
Big defensive wing is a big need now. The salary rules are tough but I think I saw that if they lost Grant, plumlee, Millsap and Craig, they would be about 9 mil under the cap.

So if Millsap goes somewhere else and they bring back Craig, I think the MLE should still be available. If so I’d brink in Jae crowder, or try to trade Monte for someone.

Monte was so vital in our second rotation though...I'm really gonna miss Grant

Yeah this euro dude is only 5’11 tho and it sounds like he was assured he would be in the rotation. Can’t play him and Monte together

that is exactly what they plan on doing for some stupid reason. One positive is that next season if they underperform Malone can be fired and they can go get will hardy from San Antonio

they grabbed green which will help and I don’t know how much milsap has left but I do know that starting him and playing him major minutes during the season is only going to lead to him being useless in the post season.

this season is going to be huge for mpj and Malone’s relationship because if he tries the bs he pulled this previous season in this upcoming season their will be a lot of issues in the locker room

Regular Season needs to be all about MPJ. Actually seeing what he can do and figuring out how to best implement him in the offense so he’s ready come playoff time.

With Millsap and green here, big wing is the last need for the playoffs. Batum maybe? Or it can be revisited at the trade deadline. But if you take this roster into the playoffs, there’s no way you’re not getting killed by bron and kawhi

absolutely, last year the regular season should of been about getting mpj ready for the playoffs but now there is no question that regular season is all about developing Mpj and seeing what you got there.

I do think it is all going to come down to Malone though. He is going to have to let mpj work through his errors instead of just yanking him the moment he makes a mistake. I still think he gets let go after this season if they don’t make it past the second round and if his relationship with mpj gets bad during the season. Hopefully, will hardy is available and we get him to come to Denver and install the motion offense with this team

Luckily there aren’t many options is he wants to bench MPJ. Torrey Craig used to be the security blanket, but now that him and Grant are gone, you kinda have to rely on MPJ to play a lot of minutes

that’s true, this is going to force Malone’s hand and that is a good thing because he didn’t take much effort in trying to develop him during the regular season last year
