We just weren’t ready two years ago. It’s also possible the Wolves were just better at that time. Taj played good D on Jokic when it mattered most. We didn’t execute in the clutch. I’d blame it on the youth and inexperience just as much as the coaching and play calling.

I don’t think their handling of MPJ is egregious. Are you forgetting how his back injury scared teams off? He was a top-5 lock and he went at the end of the lottery because teams didn’t want to take the risk. I think they’re just being cautious and bringing him along slowly. I get the frustration though because he’s a talented cat and if he’s fully healthy he should be on the court. I’m critical too of how Malone fails to give younger guys opportunities to develop by playing them on a consistent basis but it’s not so detrimental that you get rid of him. He did the same with Jokic and Murray and they’re alright. I just hope he realizes MPJ can contribute to the Nuggets success this year if he trusts him a little and gives him opportunities to play and learn.

I disagree about being ready two years ago Malone did not put them in a position to win and his rotations that game were garbage. Also, how he did Jokic and Murray was wrong and we all saw and spoke on that. They turned out alright but MPJ might not and that is what I’m worried about. If you have a generational talent you nurture and develop it, Malone is acting like a spiteful child and his treatment of mpj shows that even when he does good like the clippers game he is removed and doesn’t come back in until garbage time for no logical reason.

MPJ from all reports is fully healthy it is some weird power trip that Malone is on

I can’t call it mane. I just hope the young brother eventually gets his opportunity to shine. This year. To the extent there’s some silly shyt going hopefully he’s resilient enough to get through all that and come out better because of it.

I didn't like him much when he was on my team (Sixers) but he's gotten a lot better since he left
Yea he's kind of a late bloomer but if his rebounding was a little bit better he would be the perfect small ball 4 and he's only gonna keep getting better as his 3 point shot and overall game keeps improving

The nice thing long term is that his lack of rebounding isn’t an issue if MPJ is at the 3
