Sometimes on my way to work, i think that it is possible that if i got in a car wreck and didnt have to go to work, I might have a more enjoyable day

It's such a vicious cycle..I often feel that, there's no way I want to work all my life. Life is too short to waste it away at work. Our whole society system is broken, when we have to live "for the man" instead of ourselves. By the time you retire you have all these health issues and are about to die of old age anyway. I kinda like my job, I just can't imagine devoting my whole life to it. Would be nice to own a brothel somewhere and be able to just enjoy nudity & nature all day in abundance and live for myself really

BRB doing some 'compulsory overtime'.... in the mean time lets discuss modern day slavery aka first world problems brehs......

Fair play to ya if thats the case! I figured man there's no way like to get by in life except by the sweat of your brow, whether figurative or literal. .....Though it's preferable when you enjoy your job & take satisfaction in your career........ Unless you want to be a dictator or something. Then you have paranoia and insanity to look forward to....

I guess until then I will keep searching until I find a niche that I really enjoy. It's doesn't have to me highly lucrative, but so long as I'm doing well enough in it, better than I ever did as an employee in fact. ..only then will I look forward to work & spend quite a lot more time at it than I did as a wage slave......

Likewise thats exactly my case in point at this moment and time...to sum (pun intended) it up

No you wouldn't. I thought that shyt too until it actually happened to me. I rather go into work everyday than being stuck at home and injured. If you don't have enough passion for what you do, go find something else.

I try to do my job (while posting on the coli) and go the hell home. Whatever I can't get done in one day, I communicate that and get it done the next day.

My plan is to get out of Corporate America by the time I'm 40 or before then so that leaves a few years to stack some money and make some sound investments (inshallah) and get a business plan off the ground. It's just a means to an end for me and I like being a contractor because I don't feel any guilt leaving when I get sick of my assignment.

Not by choice I was fired after a witch hunt cause I fell out with my boss (long story). I was getting tired and stressed out by the job anyway so trying not to look back.
