wouldn't no none black ever step up to one of us back in the day without getting crushed. What happened to us brehs?

:mjcry:
Breh back in the day no one wanted to start shyt, we had an aura of invisibility and strength. I blame this generation of skinny jeans wearing, red cup holding, lean leaning sipping, frail looking fools. They're literally undoing everything great the OG's laid down for us. :scust:

You speaking like you grew up late 70s-90s..
Why are you blaming kids when it was our era that let the youth down..
You sitting high and mighty From the hill of nostalgia..
Our generation are the parents to these kids and we didn’t instill anything in them..
Add the fact that the Crack Era/War On Drugs/Clinton prison policies took most black men out of the homes and left us holding the bag trying to figure out how to become men..
In turn we became angry, filled with pain and tried to heal our wounds with perpetuating the cycle we saw in some of our homes..
Or we vowed not to be like our parents and decided to raise kids as our friends.
Or we were to young to even understand the responsibility of raising a child and were growing up mentally with them..
It’s easy to point fingers and place blame instead of being introspective these days..

You can’t just write off “Kids are goofy now”..
Kids have always been goofy and done questionable shyt..
That’s the definition of immature..
But with each generation that has become parents..
People stopped teaching kids..
People wanted to stop corporal punishment..
People wanted to end some of the cycles they grew up in..
People wanted to hide the painful truths or just didn’t know how to because they themselves were never given the tools..
So the cycle just continues..
There’s always the exception to the rule..
There are awesome parents out there but nikkas in here acting like they can’t be OGs anymore but want to place blame on youth..
Fashion and music have nothing to do with this..
I have tons of examples of the questionable shyt I grew up watching and listening to..
Ridiculous fashion..
Stop acting like it was just Timbs/Pelle Pelle/Bubble Coats and Coogi Sweaters:russ:
Everything that we see today is a reflection of our parents failures/our failures/etc..
But I know this post will just incite the same old “c00n” post or some other dumb shyt:mjlol:
Never change TLR:mjlol:
