"Stone Cold" Steve Austin may be appearing on WWE TV in the near future to promote the kickoff of his new show “Straight Up Steve Austin” on the USA Network, notes the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. While this is not confirmed by WWE, it would make sense both ways as it would not only help promote the show but would also move the ratings needle for Raw and/or Smackdown. Austin’s show debuts on August 12 immediately after Raw so if he is to appear on any show, it's likely to be on Monday nights.

we ready for easy e?The timeline for Eric Bischoff’s signing with WWE is that he likely had a meeting with Vince McMahon a few days after the 6/10 and 6/11 tapings in California, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The actual deal likely was not signed until around 6/25 as that is when Bischoff cancelled a series of appearances in Canada, while citing that he had signed a contract that wouldn’t allow him to make those appearances. He is expected to move to Stamford next week with his family and begin giving his input on shows beginning on the 7/16 Smackdown Live show.

Teenagers - one of WWE’s target groups and the toughest to reach for a lot of shows - grew significantly from the first to second hour and even showed a slight increase for the third hour. Week-over-week, for the under-35 demographic, viewership was up a whopping 37.5%.
