And not even sure you have a current Silicon Valley without all the Indian-Americans, Asian-Americans, and Middle Eastern-Americans.

So I read Naomi Klein' book last year, Doppleganger and a lot of is about Bannon's podcast,- War Room- and Klein made the case of how effective he is into bringing voters into the fold. The big tent party. and this is Naomi fukking Klein. and I read it, and agreed.
they brought a lot of the voters into the fold with COVID restrictions. That hurt small businesses. Yoga moms. Soccer Moms. Everyday people.

A lot of those guys from the "new right"/"alt right" believe in "America First".
So you see a lot of Enrique Tarrio types with the Proud Boys.
Just like a lot of Dinesh D'Souzas and other conservative Indians/Muslims/Cubans/Border Mexicans/Asians align specifically against Black people, and somewhat for "white people" (and themselves)
This is how you get a Candace Owens, a Larry Elder, Thomas Sowell - they're willing to believe in an ideal, despite living in reality.

Y'all can't fall for the okey doke like this. He opposes DEI, opposes Affirmative Action, doesn't want to do anything to improve Black K-12 schooling, but you think he wants more Blacks and Hispanics in Silicon Valley?
If the foreign students were all immediately expelled for America's universities, do you really think the gap would be filled with Black engineering and CS majors? Come on now. The lack of Black engineers and CS majors doesn't have jack shyt to do with foreign students keeping them out of college. There aren't nearly enough Black kids who are prepared to compete for those slots in the first place.
What is Bannon doing about that? NOTHING. He's against improving Black schools or desegregating them with White ones. He's against improving the gap in health care access. He's against desegregating neigborhoods or improving low-income housing. He doesn't think there's any police or judicial discrimination. He doesn't support reparations. He's joyful that Affirmative Action and DEI are getting struck down. There isn't a single policy, anywhere in his repertoire, which will actually help Black folk attain anything. He solely uses that phrase as a misdirection in order to support his anti-immigrant agenda.
He doesn’t.
He knows that immigrant with student visas turn into immigrants with work visas.
He doesn’t have to worry about that with black Americans and Hispanics because they can kneecap their progress early on. Further, there’s already a large number of immigrants in leadership positions willing to bring in these workers that isn’t the case for blacks and Hispanics.
