Steve Kerr: "subbing out MOODY was a terrible decision"

Ya think???
:martin:

Anyway, this was a good interview. Unusually honest and revealing. Worth a listen.

He still ain't coaching shyt, but it's good that he's calling for the big 4 to clean it up and step it up.

they need to integrate the younger pieces, Moody obv most ready but i'd say give Trace more touches too, the rookie argument can't fly if the vets aren't getting it done

mavs is letting lively start as the 5, im not saying TJD needs the same amount of minutes or touches but he should be getting more play as a back up big

the trade shouldve put the nail in the coffin for you. Their season been over!
they just play so slow and it just doesnt seem like good ball. If the 3's are hitting, they look great, but that's every team. defense doesn't seem impressive either

I keep telling yall that's his job now. There is no possible way Looney is supposed to be starting with the ineptness he has on offense. He also not giving you any rim protection on defense. Looney is a BENCH player who's presence is used to undermine the effectiveness of Steph and Klay's ability to draw defenders to the perimeter. If Golden State has anybody on the inside that can just dunk or block shots effectively the starting lineup would be unstoppable because when you over commit the center would punish you inside. Looney does NOT possess the ability to do that.

was he grabbing all those offensive boards on the '22 run as a starter or bench player?

Strength in Numbers was on full display tonight.

Dubs win round 1 of the Battle of the Flabbys.

:flabbynsick:

Probably cuz we had 3 kiddos balling to balance all the Gardens.

Let's do it again in LA on Sat and get some momentum going.

I find it ironic that the Dubs and Kerr pride themselves on their "read and react" offense.

Yet Kerr can't seem to read the game and react in the moment for his rotations.

Maybe a few more games like tonight, multiple young guys contributing to a victory, will change that.

Can that old dog learn a new trick and start giving people minutes based off merit instead of nostalgia?
