If Steph decides to leave, back to the bushes of irrelevancy the warriors go and that team value gonna tank harder than Trump truth social stock..

This is unbelievable. U CANNOT expect to compete moving like this. ONE first round pick traded in over 11 years.

All that talk about how the Warriors FO are just light years ahead of everyone else but they lucked into being able to grab the greatest shooter in the history of the game

and signed KD off a once-in-a-lifetime cap spike. Didn't even expect to contend in 2022.

When steph leaves, they're gonna be 1999 bulls status for a long time

You just watched these nikkas win 4 outta 6 Finals

How silly you look talking about not trading 1st round picks

When. Where. For Who
Are you kidding?

Lacob got in when the core was nearly complete.

They used 6/15 roster spots on players 22 and under. Added 3 more bad young players to a defending champion team.

Every year for the last 6 years “no one is available. Who would we trade for? What would you have them do?” When other teams use their picks to get established players.

The past 3 seasons all they’ve done is salary dump players. The Celtics got porzingis for less than the warriors gave up to get CP0

The bulls were begging to trade Zach lavine
For nothing. An expiring CP0 and a pick would’ve done the job. FO did nothing

Don’t wanna give up Moody Kuminga or Podz for Lauri. 3 players who will NEVER be all stars. They didn’t even extend kuminga

Marcus Thompson put out an article that stated the FO is still thinking about how the Oubre acquisition didn’t go well, making them unsure about trading picks now (mind you, they let oubre go for nothing. Didn’t flip him at the trade deadline).

Traded wiseman at the last minute when his value was shyt….just to get GP2 when they could’ve held onto him in the offseason

They haven’t had an actual center rotation in years. The last actual centers they had on this team were James Wiseman, a bust, and Willie Cayley Stein (trash). They still don’t have a good center rotation. They’re starting center is trace jackson Davis, a late second rounder who is undersized and can’t make a basket unless it’s a dunk. And he’s a bad defender.

They’ve been a small team for 4 years now. Year after year, they trot out 3/4 guard lineups, where Gary Payton 2 has to play the 5. This has been going on for YEARS. Fans complain about it on social media year after year and the FO doesn’t address it.

They have no spacing year after year. They got rid of Klay to play more pidziemski. And it has been a bust. We tamper with the lineups year after year

Don’t sit here and act the FO has done a good job. Any idiot can see they’ve been painfully mediocre and inept for years.

This thread outlines every single mistake they’ve made

Zach Lavine is putting up 23 PPG on 64% TS, 45% on 7.4 3PA per game, and he's played 31/36 games this season. He's literally exactly what the Warriors are missing in a second star who can create his own shot and shoot threes.

Why the fukk didn't they flip CP3's contract for him last year when Chicago was begging anyone to take him?? This front office has been too afraid to make any big moves out of fear of missing and ended up wasting these last three seasons anyways :why:

In the words of MDJ: “We like what we have”.

:snoop:

The fact they let CP3 go for nothing is infuriating. They really thought they could contend with a 38 year old small point guard playing heavy minutes :unimpressed:

I never understood it either. I dropped multiple posts in this thread because it made all the sense in the world, but see, nikkas really were drunk off the ANTI-Zach narrative that ran rampant last season while he was out that told the NBA he was a worthless player that was washed.

Bulls were legit trying to get salary relief for him. Warriors had Klay's expiring and CP3's expiring and just... did nothing. Really yal had multiple ways to get LaVine for nothing (considering CP3 and Klay netted you nothing I believe).

He would have been insane next to Steph and in this system.

Lavine fits perfectly with Golden State. He can score off the dribble, but he's elite at catch and shooting also. You put him in this system and run similar actions that Klay gets and he'll eat.

He doesn't do it enough in Chicago because the Bulls don't really run offense that makes sense. The fit is there, plus Kerr coached Zach during the Olympics and raved about him when they won Gold

Zach has history with Kerr from the Olympics, run the same actions for LaVine that you typically run for Klay. Zach is also better off the bounce... and he's always been great at catch and shooting statistically.

Just sayin'...
:hubie:

It really wouldn't of been a terrible idea to pursue LaVine back in November before he tapped out on Chicago

:yeshrug:

Exactly. I actually can't wait to see LaVine next year. He going to be on a mission after the entire league basically said he ain't worth shyt

If you pull up all the posts trashing the idea of adding this dude to your team just from the last 12 months... With all the salary yal had, there was a pathway to net you Caruso AND Zach last season.
:mjlol:

:hubie:

Now rumors are talking about they're looking at Vuc, can't make this up.

Watching this game, you would've thought we were coming off a double overtime and on the second night of a back-to-back while playing on the road

everyday i gotta hear about how:

Jimmy Butler (got a team full of late 1st rounders and undrafted players to 2 finals in 4 seasons and 1 conf finals)
OG Anunoby (knicks turned into contenders and went 35-7 with him in the lineup)
Pascal Siakam (got to the Conf Finals on the Pacers)
Alex Caruso (literally one of the NBA's best defenders)
Brandon Ingram, Dejounte Murray, Lauri Markanned (made the all-star team, something none of these other nikkas will do)
Zach Lavine (had like 3 30 point games in his last 4 games. again, made the all-star team, something these other nikkas will never do. Bulls were GIVING this dude away)

Wouldn't make a difference on this trash ass squad.
