I've been using this feature and didn't realize it was in beta or new for that matter.
Coming from consoles and having done the same thing pretty much for years I thought this was a basic feature in steam.
Great to see it made official then I guess.
Makes perfect sense for a digital license to be playable by everyone on the hardware where it's installed and have their own saves and what not.
