I remember when this white chick on tv said Mitt Romney's wife never worked a day in her life and caught mad heat for it. She was right that's not a real job and you don't deserve credit for staying at home all day babysitting your own damn kids. First off you chose to have the kids so that's what you wanted and while you stay at home all day somebody else has to pick up the slack to provide for all yall.

Is dealing with kids stressful? At times yeah but that still doesn't compare to having to get up at 5-6 in the morning and hall your ass off to work and give up huge chunks of your life to a 9-5 job. Then you bring that home and the stay at home gets to spend the fruits of your labor. On top of that for the most part staying at home they get to do what they please in the constraints of taking care of the kids.

Your gonna catch a lot of flack for this but I feel like most parents that are stay at home even if they complain much rather be doing that. My mom was a stay at home parent but to help my dad make ends meet she would work late night shift at bullshyt jobs come home super late and do it all over again now that I respect and she never complained about it once. Most of these stay at home parents wouldn't do it even if they were in a dire financial situation like a couple of my Aunts.

I don't think the two should be compared as equals. As someone else said a child is a 24/7 job but at the same time it doesn't compare to getting up going to work and doing what your boss tells you for 8+ hours. At home with the kids you are calling the shots, at work even if your a CEO you still have someone to answer to. At work your basically someone else's tool untill they are done with you for the day. I'm not taking anything away from stay at home parents. I understand their job is difficult as well, its just a different set of challenges.

DO YOU HAVE KIDS WIN? I KNOW I GET STUCK WITH THEM LIL BASTIDS AND AFTER 1-2 DAYS I BE READY TO SEND THEM MONSTERS HOME. EVEN THE LIL ANGEL BE HAVING ME PULLING MY HAIR OUT.

THE COOKING, CLEANING, AND ALLA THAT? SHIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.....

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTT!!!!!!

THINK ABOUT IT. PEOPLE PAY FOR MAIDS, COOKS, AND BABYSITTERS. THIS 1 CHICK IS DOING ALL OF THIS AT THE SAME DAMN TIME. SOME OF THESE PEOPLE ARE PAYING COLLEGE TUITION FOR DAYCARE. AND THAT'S FOR 1 KID.

Its not a bullshyt job fam. Some of us like myself have to stay home and raise kids due to disabilities hindering us from working. I stay at home raising 3 kids bout to be 4 anytime now :lift:

I have a disability that keeps me from working pretty much. Its a hard as job to raise kids this way just as a real job. Me raising my kids also keeps my mind preoccupied not worrying about whats wrong with myself.

I was in the army for 8 yrs. From the time pt start till my job ends thats me getting up 515am getting off work at 7 or 8 pm most times. If i compare the 2 they both have their days where one is harder than the other. i still bring in money staying at home from VA but i rather my kids be at home with me taking care of them than daycare but i do put them in at times so they can have fun.

You also gotta look that some people dont trust daycare for their kids so they stay at home to raise them. Daycare is really expensive for people who have multiple kids so 1 parent stays at home since they wouldn't make enough to work to pay daycare.

raising a child is a 24/7 365 a 9-5 is nothing in comparison

This might be true, but it still doesn't classify it as a job.

I have more respect for women who work a job and still come home and take care of their kids. Now that's some real shyt to do.

Most stay home moms give the kids to the dad as soon as he steps thru the door. And if you're a stay home mom, you obviously have another adult in the house helping and supporting you, so um... no, no kudos for that.

Props to the single mothers that work and take care of their kids.
Props to the married mothers that work and take care of their kids.

fukk it, shout out to all women who multitask... work and take care of their kids.

the evils of truth, and love
Being a stay at home wife/Mom is a luxury.

How can anybody argue differently?

being a stay at home wife is easy

being a stay at home mom isnt its that simple :hmm:

really though ive worked my fair share of 40 hours of straight labor and its not as tough for me because im in good condition its pretty much all physical endurance so its easy for me :manny:

but staying home watching kids all day specially if you got like 3 all different ages one crying ALL DAY

one quiet getting into everything breakng all types of shyt up gettin into shyt they not spose to gettin food all over everywere one trying to eat off the floor bout to poison him/herself

its like a whole different type of work :mindblown: have ya brain on the brink of a meltdown trying to stop yourself from arguing and yelling at a child like they know better or something but they cant even tell you what time it is

changing pampers :youngsabo: biohazard status

i guess from a womans perspective labor work would be more difficult because most women arent built like that though
