I need guidance from Coli's Finest. I heard that a CS and Stats dbl major would make myself more profitable, so it is something I'm looking at and wondering is this worth pursuing or just stick to CS.

The concerns I'm having with this is that it may put me over the # credits that they want you to finish your bachelors (though they do exempt DBL majors), that and difficulty of the classes.

Or, just stick to CS and work on projects, internships, and learning code.

Mind you I don't really know what I'm going to do with the CS degree when I'm done, I do feel that the double major would open more paths, but I'm not sure worth pursuing? :ld:

I would highly recommend it. Stats will teach you how to evaluate circumstances and your CS will teach you how to create the programs/architecture needed to analyze those stats. It will open doors for you in the finance industry as well as marketing and any other field that uses analytics to drive growth.

Stats is such a diversified subject that it can be applied to almost any industry. A thorough understanding of it paired with a CS degree will open a LOT of doors for you.
