Started binge watching Star Trek Voyager

I don't even like Star Trek to be real, but I got sucked into seeing if they make it home. Hate the usual Star Trek "show everyone how intellectual and cultured we are" BS, but some of the episodes are pretty good. I've only bushed 2 through about 2 1/2 seasons. Took about a season to get going, but I'm on #3 right now and the quality and consistency is a lot better.

Started digging around to see what people who were on the show have been up to. That one girl getting busted 3 times exposing herself to kids The captain writing a book about how she got raped at knifepoint

Some of them are pretty good actors sad to see that most of them didn't do much post-series, but they have had some cool cameos.

they went overboard w/ the Borg shyt..big Borg fan but voyager killed their presence. Harry kim was useless as fukk

but the Doc is still hands down one of the best trek characters in any series.

I was like that with I Love Lucy. Her sorry ass show came on right before Speed Racer. That shyt was piss me off sitting there waiting for it to end

Seven joined in season 4... I'm towards the end of that season in my rewatch.


As for this thread Yoyager is the first TV show I starting watching weekly and made me a trekie, nice to see the show get some love on here

I'm a Star Trek fan through and through but Voyager gets no love from me. It was absolutely unnecessary and at one brief point if I remember all 3 shows were running at the same time. I understand they wanted to have exploration since ds9 was serial, but they could have just built off TNG for that.

Update: just finished season 3 and man the way they did that Kes actress Funny thing about binge watching you see the trends in the show a lot better. So, they tried "sexing" her up in season 3, gave her long hair and a tight body suit, dropped her voice an octave to sound sexy, but NOPE They didn't even pretend it wasn't an exchange. Old girl got the Jazzy treatment
