I don't think any of these rumors are going to pan out to be true but I don't have much interest in a Bryan Singer produced Star Twink special on CBS.

Put the show on HBO, Showtime or Netflix and let someone else develop it. New crew, new ship but in a similar mold as TOS and TNG.

Hell, with all of the 90s nostalgia and the return of Twin Peaks and the X-Files, they could even bring back TNG for a similar run.

I would love a tng miniseries I saw an interview a few months back Patrick Stewart says he would do it if it was good he is the key because you know everyone else would be on board automatically.

I've been starving for more TV Trek.

I hope it's more like TNG or Voyager than DS9.

Now don't get me wrong, DS9 is the GOAT Trek... but I've been starving for some decent exploration for eons since the last two Trek movies didn't do it and Enterprise was pure unadulterated ass.

TV has gotten a lot more cutthroat since Trek was last on air, a slow-starting series like TNG or DS9 won't last past a season.

I'm optimistic but if it's on network TV they're prolly gonna make it NCIS in space or some bullshyt like that

Too Bad, That Rumor About ANew Star Trek TV Show Is Absolutely False

In a nutshell, Latino Review's report revolves around a pitch from 10 years ago for a new Trek TV show called Star Trek: Federation. We wrote about this pitch in great detail here, but in a nutshell it takes place in the far future, after the Federation has become "fat and happy," and a young Alexander Kirk may be the Federation's only hope for surviving a massive new threat. Robert Meyer Burnett, director of Free Enterprise, was involved along with writer Geoffrey Thorne, and Bryan Singer was also on board.

Here's some good news though

Dope, I'm currently re-watching Yoyager and its :blessed: I'm in the beginning of season 2, Can't wait until the end of season 3 when they encounter the Borg :ohlawd: GOAT villains in any Sci Fi franchise to me.

I don't remember Kes when watching the show years ago, I love her character.

If this reboot comes to life I would love to see the Voyager Spaceship along with one of the cast members make a cameo, I hope the reboot has a new spaceship too.

Re-watching Yoyager in addition to watching that Star Trek movie yesterday has me trekked out :wow:
