Characters look as corny as ever. Whoever's drawing this needs his canvas chopped in half.

That said gameplay looks upgraded. Camera was to panned out in previous games. Looks improved.

The series never really adjusted to polygon 3D games. The battle system of 4 was good though the rest of the game was bad and that 2as the worst final boss ever. It had over 1 million HP.

Lol this shyt honestly looks like someones senior thesis project. It looks terrible and i can’t believe they’re even marketing it so hard.

Lost Souls Aside was made by one person and looks 10x’s better than this. They can’t even keep the camera in focus

This shyt can stay in Japan. I remember being hype for star ocean 4 on ps3 when we had that big ass drought of jrpgs and being disgusted at how trash the characters, voice acting, and muddled the story was. Only decent thing was the battle system and one of the characters(minfilia?) Had big ass titties that would shake for my teenage self after battles.
I refused to buy 5 and this shyt looks trash and made with bought assets from the store for unreal engine 4 and the main character looks like a cac so no buy

Star ocean 2 will forever be great tho
