Stanley Johnson vs LeBron - "I wish he would just talk when [the game] is 0-0, not when he's up 16."

Stanley Johnson on LeBron and the Cavs' bench: "He jabbers," Johnson said after Game 2. "He moves his mouth sometimes. Their whole team does, kind of like their little cheerleaders on the bench. Every time you walk in the right corner. They're always saying something like they're playing basketball, like they're actually in the game. There's only seven or eight players who play, I don't see why the other players are talking. They might as well just be in the stands, in my opinion.

Damn breh. I was just about to make a thread about this. :damn:

The question is...is he trending towards the Leonard type of no back down or is just pumping hot air (no pun) like Lance Stephenson:jbhmm:

His development the next couple of years will tell a lot.
hopefully he's not a clown show like Stephenson was :smh:

These first two games he's been going at him, hasn't backed down at all
Lance didn't back down either :yeshrug:

Leonard was silent and deadly :demonic:

Like even when he took the L to LeBron...he just bounced back. Never bought into the mind games.

Maybe he can talk it and still ball out.

Gotta tread lightly when you go at the king :ehh:
