Getting back into sprinting. Want to run a 400m around 1 minute range. Any suggestions on good workouts and weight training for that?
Depends would you say your endurance or speed needs the most work?
If speed run 4x200m or even 4x100m
If endurance run 4x800m
Time yourself and try to keep a consistent time on each of your reps
Best way to get a faster 400 is to get good at the 800. It translates better than the shorter distance sprints. Best dudes I seen run the 400m were good 800m runners as well who were also naturally fast and had long ass strides
