For a minute he had songs with everyone... Flocka, Jay/Kanye, Rick Ross, Wiz, Ace Hood etc.
After BMF he had one more song with Ross, why didn't they do more tracks?
Only major dudes he worked with last year were JuicyJ and Gucci

Mike WiLL came through, stole his lane and amplified the trap sound.

Damn, I should make a "Best of..." Lex Luger playlist. That sh1t would be :ohlawd: and throw me right back into my first two years of college.

Producers started jacking his style, artist kept on requesting Lex to do the same Wakka Flocka Hard in Da Paint/BMF beat and he got tired of it.

He had 3 beats on Juicy J's album which is still a pretty nice job 5 years later, music careers are usually not very long.. Specially not when you're as repetitive as this dude and the other shyt he did wasn't dope enough for the prices he came with.

Was a classic beat though.

I looked on Wikipedia and counted 120 placements since 2012..you figure for every beat you make, 3 arent gonna get picked so thats almost 500 beats or 250 a year. No wonder they all kinda sound the same

Lex did what any smart producer would do when his sound started being replicated throughout the game....he took some time off, got in the studio, and put his focus in a new direction. Check out the Underachiever's - Lords of Flatbush tape here http://pitchfork.com/news/52090-download-the-underachievers-the-lords-of-flatbush-mixtape/, it was produced entirely by Lex. You can still hear the trap influences in the 808s and the snares, but dude is starting to incorporate different sounds and elements into his beats. Below are a couple newer tracks he did that shows what I'm trying to explain.

He also just linked up with some other producer (forgot his name) and they formed a producer group. Look it up

Im sure he's made enough money of his beats esp. considering how many placements he had.
