So as :troll: alluded to in his recent comments, he ain't no spring chicken

First step/quickness are the first thing to go; the flab reaper comes for all the greats eventually

He's said the Cavs need a "Point Guard/Playmker" ... At this point in his career why not be that guy? He's got the passing ability/court vision to do so :yeshrug:

I don't see him to the the type like :childplease: or:mjpls: and be like "I got a LOT left in the tank!!!" and go on crazy late life high-scoring runs

Also his aversion to posting up is bizarre to me, I think a 270-280 pound mid 30's Bron in the post would be more than most of the 90's babies could deal with :ehh:

The homie @threattonature said it best in the other thread -
The real problem is that Lebron wants teams to revolve around him. He doesn't want to play in an offense thats equal opportunity that'll cause his numbers to suffer. With that being the case the team becomes fukked when Lebron goes down. If he was willing to sacrifice his numbers and empower other players more his absence wouldn't be felt as bad.
As the team is currently constructed he needs to learn fill the holes, rather than prioritizing his box score appearances - which I still believe is one of his biggest faults as a player. Now obviously there is a divide here, in that the team still needs him to produce #s at a high level, but too often do we see him not giving consistent effort on defense (pointing the finger at others in the process) or not fulfilling all the other roles that aren't centered around having the ball in his hands.

problem is as he gets flabby he hasn't worked on his footwork/shooting. and his defense will drop even more. it'll be a sharp decline imo once he knows he can't crab walk and bulldoze mofos while complaining about fouls. which is ironic cuz he's afraid to shoot ft cuz he's just average at it.

LeBron isn't saying they need a main playmaker, he is that already, and Kyrie and Love to a lesser extent are playmakers. He's just saying they need a backup point guard, which they don't have.
