Spin/ How does your ego affect your decision making when it comes to relationships?

Do you have a large ego that enables you to hold grudges and even act out of spitre for the opposite sex. Or do you simply follow your heart and true instinct without thinking about how it may look?

Especially when it comes to breakups. If you truly love(d) somebody but they broke up with you or some misunderstanding ruined the relationship, are you the kind of person who is willing to give second chances years later. Or are you the kind of person that says, "You had your chance before and you blew it, you're dead to me."

Many situations but how do ya'll handle them generally. My ego definitely gets in the way. On one end I might want to resolve the situation and continue where we left off...but I cant help but feel like a sucker so I just resist the temptation.

Yeah, i have a huge ego, so ive never been the type to really pursue a female if she starts acting up, and things are going south between us. Its recently dawned on me that my lack of acting a fool over a broad, i think, is more of a reflection of my overall lack of interest in them individually, rather than purely a defense mechanism to protect my heart. I havent met that woman that i connect with so deeply, that she makes me wanna go the extra mile over, and inspire me to forgo personal ego for her affections.
