Mario Kart 64 ez... but I wouldnt be mad if somebody said Diddy Kong race was the better Kart 64. Diddy Kong Race was waaay ahead of it's time. Being able to race each other in either plane, hover craft or kart was . It took was Mario Kart did and multiplied it by 5. Sh*t was was too advanced for it's time.

Shortcuts all took skill and precision..and that moment when you found out you can jump across the map on the rainbow road and cut across half the stage??

Mario Kart 64 could get it for impact, but Diddy Kong Racing just did everything better. Three different vehicles, unique maps, and story mode was actually piff.

People will pick Mario Kart 64 for status quo reasons but Diddy Kong Racing did EVERYTHING better. If you've never played it fire up an emulator on your PC/Console and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Mario Kart Double Dash for racing, Mario Kart 64 for battles. Battle games on Double Dash
Diddy Kong Racing, though... karts, planes, & hovercrafts, shyt was crazy... might have to put it above MK64 now that I look back at it.
MK64 & DKR were amazing & still are but overall I'd put Double Dash as my #1 for actual racing. Yoshi/Birdo or Yoshi/Red Koopa

Diddy Kong Racing is the game that all other karting games should aspire to be. No rubberbanding AI, dope graphics, story mode was piff and trying to race TT made for great times. It was interesting how this game dropped, basically out of nowhere and went on to sell a million plus it's first month on the market.

i had alot of fun with all of em, but trying to beat my friends times in DD was soooo much fun...never owned Diddy tho,maybe ill find it on Ebay and buy it...that and podracer.....
