So after going through that thread on Hated NBA players, I realized there are some players I hated and then became fans of, and players I was fan of and ended up hating, such as

Hated then became fan of:

Kobe: was anti-Kobe when he came in the L and felt he was feeling himself way too much, and felt selfishness cause Shaq's departure. But those years of struggle post-Shaq and the rise back to the top made me respect him BIG TIME, and I eventually became an admitted stan. Thank God I saw the light :to:

Fan, then hated:

Wade: Was a HUGE fan after that run with Marquette, and that playoff series against the Hornets was just  ... but then he morphed into D-Whistle and D-Flop and has that arrogant way about him, he's basically numero uno on my hated list now

Anyone else have this happen to them?

Cosign this right here. Can't stand Wade anymore. And it's a shame because the dude is too talented to be flopping all over the place and crying to the refs all the damn time.

You hate arrogance and you hate flopping so you switch from Wade to Kobe? :laff: They're both about as bad as you can get in both areas.

Nah I get what you're saying but the situation is reversed IMO. Kobe came in feeling himself and shyt but I get the feeling that those post-Shaq struggles kind of humbled him and make him focus more on the game than on the extra stuff. NOT saying that Kobe's an angel on the court but I find it crazy that in some of his greatest performances (63 against Dallas, 81, 61 at MSG) dude isn't even shoving it in the opponent's face anymore. Plus obviously the fact that he would even have those performances to begin with. Playing at a very high level with a series of injuries, not even caring about criticism...made me respect him that much more. shyt he's earned the right to be arrogant :childplease:

Wade on the other hand came in humble IMO and was a straight warrior in my book early in his career, and now he falls down after every other shot. Doing childish stuff like He wasn't strutting around like that either before :gladbron: came and took over.

At the end of the day it's all subjective anyway :manny:
