I had one girlfriend that her step-dad pulled a knife on me. I found out later that the reason why was that he wanted my girlfriend. He didn't like it when I came around and one time I came over and it was just my girlfriend, her step-dad, and her sisters and brothers. I just came in and sat down in the living room. I left when one of the neighbor's called the police. Her mother and him broke up a short time afterwards. I guess she could tell what was going on.
