Spin: do you still watch chapelle show reruns?

So there ain't shyt on right now, but I noticed chapelle show rerun is airing...

I used to love this fukken show.... Still think its top notch, but I ain't really enjoying it like I used to.

Am I crazy or has this shyt aged poorly?

I think I'm the only one around my way that watches Seinfeld so I don't hear about it that much. Same with Curb. Eeeeeevery body and their momma watched Chappelle and said "I'm rick james bytch" a gillion times.

Now kids think of Rick James as the guy from the chappelle show.


The skit was hilarious for it's time but as a Rick fan I have to give it the

not regularly.. after the initial craze, i probably check it out once a year where i'll rewatch the whole run.

i enjoy it everytime. the one thing off the top of my head is that the lil jon skits aren't funny to me anymore.

You're right. Some skits still make me laugh but overall I can't watch it like I can watch Martin.

I still watch it when it's on, but it definitely didn't age as well as shows like Martin. I think part of that reason is cause the chapelle show had to so many outlets to get played out in he first place. Even if you didn't watch it when it originally aired, nikkas was quoting that show in person and online like it was going out of style. You can't tell me you weren't tired of people saying "I'm rick james bytch"

every now and then when i get home drunk or someshyt, id put netflix and throw it on..

its never like the first couple times watching em, but im still entertained
