I always had a soft spot for the frog suit. It was trash on land, but it was always fun using the suit to find secrets in the water levels.

Objectively though, the Tanooki and Hammer suits were the goat power ups. The cape was fun, but it was TOO broken IMO.
This convo really makes you realize how peak Mario 3 and World really were in retrospect. 30 years later and they still have the goat powerups

Frog suit looked cool asf…should be in more games. The dolphin swimming powerup in Wonder could’ve been a frog suit

Yeah the tanooki statue was immune to everything and could kill twomps and shyt. Same flying mechanism as racc00n, but more rare to find.

The fact that it hasn't come back in full form (with the statue) is wild...at least wonder brought back the swimming part of the frog suit...that statue would save you from some PROBLEMS in 3 you jump and see an unexpected twomp or bullet bill?
