I've noticed that alot of his movies have aged well. They sort of have a nostalgic flavor of the late 80s early 90s without coming off as corny like so many 90s movies.

Besides School Daze every single one of Spike Lee's movies has aged extremely well. Spike was really ahead of his time andEXCEPTIONALLY on point with his views and commentary on African American identity and social issues. Spike Lee is one of my heroes and I really don't think he gets the credit he deserves, not only as an African A,Erica's director, but as a pioneer and trailblazer of independent cinema. People criticized him for the kickstarter campaign but fail to understand that Spike Lee WAS kickstarter before there was any Internet. He and Robert Townsend independently financed their early films. Spike would have his father score the films and his sister, brother, and girlfriend play parts in the movies. Spike Lee was a grassroots artist at the most honorable level....

Sparking blunts in the shade.
Showtime was supposed to be developing this movie into a comedy series, anyone know how it's going?

And if you haven't seen this film, do yourself a favor and find a link.

It's a good flick. Spike took it a little too far with that rape scene though...

Yeah it's a real stain on what's otherwise a really good movie. Spike himself has said it's the one thing he regrets the most about his career though so I don't dwell on it too much.

This is a great bit
