The next game being a Spider-Verse game would be fire for obvious story reasons but this would also allow for them to do a lot more with the open world beyond just NYC since its gonna be tough to go above what Venom did at the end of SM2.
Especially if the Avengers gonna be Ray Charles to what's going on in NYC again.

Is Spider-Man 1, 2 and Miles Morales all on the same map?
Keep the Spiderverse portion out of SM3 as the tone won’t fit. Sidequest yes. More than that, save for later games or spinoffs.
