The trailer said there is an alternative Earth containing Mysterio so its possible they are having two Mysterios

Because thats how all these british actors sound, like a dude from Ohio, with the occasional regional sounding word thrown in.

It's not terrible, by any means but it really looks obvious when you have a native speaker talking to a brit in the same accent.
Tom Holland has a good generic new york(not queens specific) accent for his credit though,

I'm very familiar with Mysterio but I don't recall him ever pulling this con...like I just don't see Fury of all people falling for it.
But y'all right. I just expected Mysterio to be an outright villain.
