Spencer Hawes or Nikola Pekovic?

Somebody dropped Pek in my league this morning. I conditionally claimed him off of waivers and will drop Hawes for him.

shyt doesn't go through til Thursday, but is it a good move? Here's the rest of my squad right now...

I don't need another big, but shyt I'm all for an upgrade if I see one. Plus I'm thinking Pek's playing time will be more consistent than Hawes as well.

Yea, I peeped that also.

I thought his numbers on the boards would be sky high with Love out early. Kirilenko must be stealing some from him.

Pek's never been an elite rebounder to begin with, but he does well enough. AK will get his boards, but Pek should have more boards by the end of the year.

So, with Bynum's shakiness and Kwame now being shelved due to re-injuring his calf, yal don't think Hawes is going to put up decent numbers just on the fact that he'll be playing a lot of minutes?

He's averaging 8 and 8 right now in 22 minutes... he should get more minutes by default now. I'm going to have to keep an eye on this game tonight.

hawes is injury-prone and inconsistent; pek has more upside but also lower floor...in fantasy I think you have to go with upside...especially if youre in dynasty/keeper
