• Spawn is dope man. From the voice to the costume and how he tears his enemies apart
  
• Harsh language and adult themes. shyt had me at what they were saying
  
• Dark tone of the 90s discussing things like crime, corruption, hell and redemption
  
• Violator is hands down one of the creepiest motherfukkers I ever seen

• Side characters like Twitch, Jade and Jason Wyn are fantastic

Man they just don't make shyt like this anymore.

Yes yes it was, remember when it first premiered in 97 didn't really appreciate what I was watching. The pace was slower than what I was use to and the dialogue sounded like a real conversation as oppose to the grand standing and one liners cartoons gave us.

Didn't really appreciate this until I watched it again in my 20s.

Ps how McFarlane hasn't managed to resurrect this or any Other property in the midst of this CBM boom I will never know

Yea, in a lot of ways it was ahead of it's time, had it came out a decade later it would have been a huge hit.

Show was falling off and gettjng real weird as it progressed but i guessvthats the story of spawn overall. Hated it ended on a cliff hanger.
