I Know Maschine Has A SP1200 Emulator But Are There Any Drum Kits Or Plug Ins That Sound Very Idenical To The Warmth & Kick Of A Sp1200..I Really Want One But They're So Expensive :noah:

SP-1200 & MPC's are overrated.
Just use the CMT Bitcrusher 2 on your master. That's what i do. Gives it a little more warmth.

I love vintage gear and I've done some research in the past as well.

This thread shows the maschine built in filter is almost identical the the sp1200

Then the software audacity is capable of giving you that lofi sound as well

And finally of course you have plugins. enjoy

lol the sp1200 being overrated

each of the 8 channels has its own special EQ. And on top of that, if you half plug in your cord on the 6-8 or something, that's how you get the deep bass filters.

I haven't played around with the emulators, and I'm too faded to read that thread, but unless they have 8 separately filtered channels with a switch or something that mimics half-plugging a patch cord in, then it's gonna fall short.

and the fact that it did all this in the early 90s means it deserves all its high praise.
