But why was it common place and accepted in hiphop to let terrible rappers know theyre wack, before the South blew up..suddenly when the South was on top it was now offensive and wackness had to be accommodated to the detriment of all..

It's like a rule was put in place that we must understant that Southern rappers are terrible so are exempt from criticism like special needs kids..
