First of all, Prime Simpsons is levels above both of those shows.

And Family Guy’s absurdist humor has aged better than South Park’s outdated early 2000s edginess and topical humor that is completely irrelevant today.

Even Family Guy’s ‘80s references are still relevant since people are into nostalgia these days.

Meanwhile, South Park was doing episodes about Terry Schiavo and Scientology.
