With Coming to America 2 looking likely, is there room to make an updated Soul Plane 2 as Godfrey suggest.

Could it be a more conscious plane ride?

Could it add some other elements that weren't available when it came out in 2004.

Truth be told, we didn't even need the first and a second one would more than likely only be successful if it doubles down on the bullshyt.

But Kevin Hart Star bigger than it was before so a next one would be profitable but I don't see 'em changing the formula too much if at all for a sequel.

Speaking of Soul Plane, I don't know anyone who actually went to the movies and seen it. Bootleggers were everywhere on that, and it seems everyone had a clear copy with that slip slurr point when the plane took off.

it had it's funny moments for sure, but nah no sequel in it.

Looking forward to How High 2 tho.

Just something to consider.

I'm almost a 1,000% sure that the writers, directors, and producers of Soul Plane were using the 1980 film, Airplane!, starring Liam Nielsen (Naked Gun movies)as the template. Since they were likely kids or young adults when it came out.
